Who is Nextiva?

Signing up for Nextiva Fax Signing up for Nextiva vFax is easy. First you choose your plan. After that you get to choose your fax number from a list of local area codes in your state and the actual exchange itself. Not many fax companies let you choose a number like this. Very cool feature. Like all free trials they do ask for your credit card but they won’t bill you until after the 30 day trial is up. They actually tell you the exact date you’ll be billed on so there are no surprises. After you click continue you get to click on the terms and conditions and confirm your order. Note that like most services Nextiva has an automatic annual renewal which is there to keep you from having your service lapse. I recommend you note the renewal date on your calendar. After hitting confirm you’ll see a pop-up asking you to please wait while they process your order. You’re almost ready to fax. You’ll receive a confirmation email which kindly shows that you have not yet been charged, and a separate email with your id & password as well as information on how to use the service. Sending & Receiving Faxes Nextiva works like all other Internet fax services.

All these features were straight forward and easy to use. In fact it is one of the cleaner interfaces I’ve used for managing faxes online. Store Faxes Online for Up to Six MonthsNextiva lets your store your faxes online for up to 6 months. They do offer a free software tool to help you manage your faxes on your PC. This of course can be done without the tool but it might make it easier, and it’s free Reliability Although I’ve not extensively tested Nextiva fax at this point in time I can tell you it makes a difference if your fax company manages their own servers like Nextiva does. Careful server management does come in to play for timely delivery and receipt of faxes. The fact that they run their own servers should mean more reliable and fast fax delivery. Customer Service Nextiva has multiple ways to get support. Phone, email and a very nice self service FAQ. That fact that they give you their support number right on the login page is a testament to a company who really does believe that customers come first. This is pretty good but if you’re a heavy fax user then their Small Business package or Business Pro packages are really one of the best deals available.

I went to their help page, clicked on the email ID and sent a message requesting to cancel my account. I received an email back within 24 hours confriming my cancellation. It’s good to know that if they don’t meet your needs cancellation is not a hassle. Bottom line review of Nextiva vFax – Highly Recommended for Medium to High Volume Fax Needs If you do a lot of faxing this may be one of the best values for the money.
